ABOUT US

Tel-Aviv Medical College, located in the heart of Tel-Aviv, is the oldest and most experienced school in Israel offering pre-medical studies in English. Our goal is to prepare our students for successful studies at 46 medical universities in 12 different European countries, in the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and more. Students who complete study at Tel Aviv Medical College are better prepared for university entrance exams and first year study of medical school. Graduates go on to enjoy successful careers in Europe, North America, and the UK. With our experienced faculty and limited class size, we focus on a more personal attention. Since our inception, more than 1,000 of our students from 10 different countries have successfully participated in our courses Tel Aviv Medical College had been part of the Overseas Medical Education's International College Network since 2007.

Veterinary

General Medicine

Entrance to medical schools in many home countries is often difficult and costly. For this reason, more students are choosing to study general medicine abroad. Completing Tel Aviv Medical College’s pre-med course prepares you even more for this exciting, high quality education. Enjoy the benefits that life in a different culture offers in a beautiful setting that cannot be experienced at home.

Dentistry

One of the most popular types of medical study in the world today, the study of dentistry comes with high competition. Tel Aviv Medical College’s pre-med course opens opportunities to study dentistry in English in Europe. With the same cutting-edge and state-of-the-art faculties found in home country schools, a dental degree abroad is recognized across the EU, as well as other countries around the world.

The study program

Our pre-medical course consists of six subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, cognitive skills and Mathematics) and runs for 21-24 weeks, including holidays, with about 450 lessons. Classes are held 3-4 days a week, which includes about 450 hours of formal lessons and labs. In addition, there are over 1,000 hours of self-study, over 10,000 homework questions, and over 40 simulation exercises. As with any university schedule, self-study times are designed to deepen the knowledge obtained during lectures. A course is considered as passed if the end result is at least 70%. We expect the participants to attend at least 90% of all classes.

Tel Aviv Medical College’s pre-med course has been strategically developed based on the academic requirements at 46 medical universities in 12 different European countries. Our pre-med course prepares students for medical university entrance exams as well as the first year of medical school, giving students an advantage as they begin their medical careers. The Vision

Tel Aviv Medical College was founded by a group of dedicated doctors / academics to help international students meet the challenges of starting their medical education. With an acute shortage of doctors in many countries around the world, and by facilitating the process of entering the medical school, we are doing our part to address this difficult situation by offering students an easier path to study medicine.

Our dedicated lecturers are exclusively trained experts and have years of teaching experience in their specialty.
